The MoDe is a stylish super-automatic espresso machine that packs the latest Egro technology into a compact design. It’s extremely versatile, customizable, and user-friendly for operators and customers alike.
The MoDe features an easy-to-use, 7-inch touchscreen interface, simple one-touch brewing operations, and a fully customizable drink menu. Like all Egro models, the MoDe grinds and brews fresh for every cup and allows for full control over brewing variables like grind size, coffee dose, brewing time, and more, meaning you’ll never sacrifice taste or quality for convenience.
Section One: Navigating Cleaning Menu
To start - Log into Manager or Technician
Go into the Menu, found on the upper left side of the screen.
Select Cleanings, then Cleanings again.
Here you will find a menu of cleaning options. The machine will highlight which cleanings are needed, but you can also manually select.
Section Two: Coffee Cleaning
For this video we will begin by selecting “Coffee”
The menu will now take us through the cleaning process.
First, we are prompted to empty the grounds bin. Confirm when completed.
Then, take your coffee cleaning tablet and put it into the cleaning chute.
Select yes. It will now dissolve the tablet and run it through the machine lines.
When the cleaning is complete, hit OK. Simply back out to get to the front page.
Section Three: Milk Cleaning
To start the Milk cleaning, click the milk cleaning button.
The machine interface will take you through the milk cleaning process.
To begin, open the fridge door and remove any milk and free up the milk lines.
Fill the milk container with hot water and add your cleaning tablet.
Place the container into the fridge and place the milk lines into the cleaning solution.
Press OK, then START. The solution will now run through the milk lines.
The cleaning will run for three minutes.
When this cleaning cycle is completed, you will be prompted to remove the cleaning solution and get fresh hot water.
Press OK. This is to run hot water throughout the lines and remove any excess cleaning solution.
Afterwards, remove the container from the fridge. You will be prompted to rinse the machine one more time.
Press OK to confirm completion of the milk cleaning cycle.
Your machine is now cleaned and ready for use! You may log out and return your milk to the fridge.
